Decode — "Everything" is the operative word, and it is said cheerfully. The verse opens on total commitment to the least substantiated thing available.

Danger — Concentrating everything into one position is the decision that turns a bad outcome into an unrecoverable one. Nothing else in this book matters if the position size is wrong.

“I guarantee we’ll make big gains, Pepe”

Decode · Danger

Decode — A guarantee, in a song, from a narrator who has spent two tracks telling you he is reckless.

Danger — Nobody can guarantee a return. In most jurisdictions doing so in a financial promotion is illegal, and the word is a reliable marker of either a scam or someone about to become one. Treat "guaranteed" as the end of the conversation.

“I'm trying to write a smart contract”

Define · Decode  |  smart-contract

Define — A smart contract is a program stored on the chain that runs exactly as written when someone calls it.

Decode — The narrator is building, not just buying. It is a small but deliberate shift — this act of the album is about the world around the asset.

“I called my Russian hacker Vlad, he’s clever”

Decode — Outsourcing the code to someone cleverer. A joke, and an accurate description of how a great many token projects are actually built.

Danger — If you did not write the contract and cannot read it, you are trusting whoever did, entirely. Anonymous contractors have written back doors into contracts they were paid to build.

Do — Look for a published audit that names the firm, the date, and the version reviewed. "Audited" with no report attached is a word, not a review.

“Writin Solidity with my degen”

Define · Decode  |  solidity degen

Define — Solidity is the main programming language for Ethereum smart contracts.

Decode — Naming the actual language grounds the track. Most of the money in decentralised apps sits behind code written in it.

“I use to trade on small exchanges”

Define · Decode · Danger  |  exchange cex

Define — An exchange is a business where you swap money for crypto. A CEX is a centralised one: the company holds the keys and controls withdrawals.

Decode — Past tense. "I use to" is the whole story — this is the setup for the best beginner warning on the record.

Danger — A balance on an exchange is a claim against a company, not coins you hold. Smaller exchanges fail more often, with less warning and less recourse.

“OGs explained that it was dangerous”

Define — Counterparty risk is the risk that the party holding your money fails, freezes, or absconds.

Decode — This is the moment the album hands the microphone to experience. Someone who had already been through it explained the risk, plainly, before it happened.

Do — Lead a workshop with these four bars. They contain the warning, the mechanism, and the consequence in sequence, from inside the culture rather than from a lectern.

“You’ll give your crypto away to strangers”

Decode — The precise reframing of what depositing on an exchange is. Not storing — giving, to strangers, on the understanding you can ask for it back.

Danger — Every large collapse in this industry was a company failing, not a blockchain failing. The chain kept running throughout. The people who lost money had handed it to a business.

Do — Decide a maximum you are willing to leave on any platform, and move the rest to a wallet you control. "Not your keys, not your coins" is this bar in five words.

“Empty wallet. Left me wit anger”

Decode · Danger

Decode — The consequence, delivered flat and without self-pity. Two words for the loss, three for the feeling.

Danger — Anger is the documented follow-on risk. People who have just been wiped out take larger positions trying to recover, and revenge trading compounds a single loss into a pattern.

“Rekt!”

Define — Rekt — wrecked. Having taken a severe loss.

Decode — One word, used as punctuation, closing the verse. The lightness is exactly how the culture handles it.

Danger — The humour normalises losses that were often avoidable and discourages examining them. The post-mortem is the only part of a loss with any value in it.

“Normies come trade wit me”

Define — Normie — someone outside crypto. A gentle insult.

Decode — The hook is an invitation and a boundary at the same time. Come in, and know which side you are currently on.

Danger — The pressure not to be on the wrong side of that line sells a great deal. Nobody has ever lost money by taking an extra week to understand something.

“Getting rich is my agenda”

Decode

Decode — Stated without decoration. Track 10 is the answer to this line, and the album's four-act shape depends on the gap between them.

“Pay interest on what I sent ya”

Define · Decode · Danger  |  defi staking

Define — Lending protocols pay a return to depositors and charge borrowers, with a contract in the middle instead of a bank.

Decode — Casual, and describing a real mechanic that powers much of decentralised finance.

Danger — The yield comes from somewhere. If it is not obvious who is paying it and why, the answer is usually newly issued tokens or the next depositor — and both stop.

“Follow guidance from my mentor”

Decode — The mentor figure, unnamed and unexamined, presented as a source of edge.

Danger — Paid mentors in this space are overwhelmingly selling confidence rather than accuracy, and their results are never independently checked. The next line — a price that conveniently retraces before he enters — is the sort of claim that is easy to make and impossible to verify after the fact.

Do — Ask for a full timestamped record including losses, and check whether promotions are disclosed as paid.

“Price retracts before I enter”

Define · Decode · Danger  |  retrace

Define — A retrace is a partial move back against the recent direction, before the trend continues — or does not.

Decode — The perfect entry, every time, in retrospect. This is how trading is described by people who are not showing you their record.

Danger — Waiting for a retrace that never comes, and assuming one is temporary when the trend has actually turned, are the same error in opposite directions. Nobody knows which it is at the time.

“Hackers always tryna jack keys”

Decode — Correct about the target. Attackers do not attack the blockchain; they go for the keys, because the keys are the whole thing.

Danger — Nearly every theft is key theft dressed up as something else — a fake site, a support account that messages first, a file you opened. The cryptography is not what fails.

Do — Treat any unsolicited contact about your wallet as hostile by default. No legitimate service will ever ask for your recovery words, and support does not message first.

“I got more Bitcoin than these maxis (Real shit) 10”

Define — A maxi is a maximalist — someone who believes one chain is the only one that matters.

Decode — A status claim aimed at the people most likely to contest it. Note the stray "10" — an artefact of the source document, preserved here because bars are quoted exactly as they appear.

Danger — Much of the loudest commentary comes from people with a fixed position to defend. Advocacy is not assessment, and both directions of chain rivalry are held alongside a bag.

“Gas price went up cuz of traffic”

Define · Decode · Danger · Do  |  gas-price network-congestion

Define — Gas price is what you offer per unit of computation. It rises when demand for block space rises — network congestion.

Decode — The traffic metaphor is the correct one. It is an auction for limited space, settled continuously.

Danger — Congestion arrives exactly when everyone wants to act, during crashes and launches. Planning to move funds "if things go wrong" schedules the move for the most expensive and least reliable moment there is.

Do — Rehearse the transfer you might need in an emergency while the network is quiet, with a small amount. Then you know the steps and the cost before it matters.

“Wait til late. I’ll work my magic”

Decode — The practical response to the previous bar, and it genuinely works: fees fall when fewer people are transacting.

Do — For any non-urgent transaction, check the current fee and simply wait if it is high. A fee tracker costs nothing and needs no wallet.

“Angels invest in my best coder”

Define — An angel investor funds a project very early, usually on terms the public never sees.

Decode — Stated as validation — someone with money believed in us. It is also a disclosure, if you read it as one.

Danger — Early backers often hold large allocations bought far below the public price. If they can sell freely at launch, the public is the exit by design.

Do — Look up the vesting schedule and the allocation split before buying. Both are usually published, and a large unlock next month is entirely predictable.

“Now he knows his role on the dark web”

Define · Decode · Danger · Do  |  dark-web

Define — The dark web is sites reachable only through software that hides both visitor and host.

Decode — The fall of the coder from the previous bars, compressed into one line. It is also the album's first real step toward its villain.

Danger — What matters for the reader is not visiting it — it is that stolen credentials and personal data are traded there, and reused passwords make those useful against you.

Do — Use a password manager with a unique password everywhere, and turn on two-factor authentication using an app or hardware key rather than SMS.

“Mooning off a meme coin, Imma crypto rich”

Define · Decode · Danger  |  moon

Define — To moon is to rise sharply in price.

Decode — The outro's repeated claim, and the second act's thesis stated at its most exuberant. Everything from track 8 onward is the correction.

Danger — Meme coins are the highest-attrition category in a high-attrition market. The ones that worked are famous precisely because they are exceptions; the thousands that went to zero are not written about.
