Where we are and where we're headed. Hip Hop World is the home for artists to claim their name, share their music, and get discovered — city by city, scene by scene.

You can do all of this today:

• Claim your artist page. Find yourself, say "this is me," and make the page yours.
• Attach your music. Paste a link — YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp — and it plays right on your page.
• Get discovered by region. Browse artists by scene, so listeners in your area find you.
• Follow and play. Fans follow the artists they love and hit play, and artists see it land.
• Discover music. New, trending, and following feeds, a play bar that follows you around the site, and shareable playlists.
• Events. Find shows near you — pulled together from across the major ticketing platforms.
• One account, everywhere. A single Hip Hop ID logs you in across the whole network.
• Play the game. Step onto the stage in Hip Hop Hero.

Being built and polished right now:

• Make it your own. Customize the language of your scene with your own slang and culture, reviewed before it goes public.
• Deeper rhythm gameplay. New performance mechanics — chant-along tags and DJ-style finishers.
• Richer artist profiles. More ways to show who you are and connect your catalog.
• A growing artist community. Onboarding real artists, scene by scene, starting in the DMV and expanding outward.

Planned / Vision

Where Hip Hop World is going:

• Build your own Route. Talent is everywhere, but distribution has always been captured by the few who control the pipes. Our long-term vision is a world where you build your own path to an audience — your crew, your block, your venue, your Route.
• A living map. A world you can explore where scenes rise and fall, neighborhoods lift each other up, and your work leaves a legacy the community remembers.
• Own a piece of it. Land, cards, and collectibles that connect the game world to your real presence — earnable through play, never pay-to-win. Skill always beats a bigger wallet.
• More ways to grow and earn. Playlists you curate, deeper music tools, and fair paths for artists to build real momentum.
